When Terry and Julie began planning for the future, they wanted their Longmont home to better serve their family’s changing needs. With an aging parent moving in, accessibility and comfort were top priorities — but they also wanted the new space to blend seamlessly with their home’s character and style.
Working with Bunn & Sons in partnership with Lodestone Design Group, they designed a beautiful main-level suite complete with a private bathroom and spacious walk-in closet. The goal was to create a comfortable, independent living area that connected naturally to the rest of the house.
Over time, the space has taken on new meaning. In addition to an aging parent, they were also able to welcome their adult children and a grandbaby when life brought them home for a season. The addition has become more than just extra square footage — it’s a space that reflects hospitality, flexibility, and family connection.
