Terry and Julie love their Fox Hill home. After raising a family there, they were ready for a new chapter, one that welcomed Terry's aging mother under the same roof with a suite built for comfort, independence, and easy access.
"We had Bunn & Sons do a major addition to our house, a main-floor mother-in-law suite including a handicapped accessible bathroom and walk-in closet, as well as a reconfiguration of our garage to keep the 3-car capability. It was a very good experience. The Bunn & Sons crew is very cleanly. They clean up every day. We were given progress pictures every day. The online project schedule (5 months) was kept current, and while some things moved around a bit, as should be expected, the end date actually moved in. The project was completed on budget, a week early and with excellent quality, and it looks like it was always part of the house rather than an addition that sticks out like a sore thumb. It does not get better than that."
No Ground-Floor Living Space: The existing layout had no main-floor bedroom suite, making the home a poor fit for a loved one with limited mobility.

We partnered closely with the architectural firm and the family to solve a tricky design challenge, extending the home well beyond its original footprint while keeping the architecture and finishes feeling original to the house. Our tradesmen developed specific solutions for the structural and site conditions, and the finished suite now reads as though it was always meant to be there.
The wide, walk-in shower, grab bar, comfort-height toilet, and dual vanity make daily routines safer and simpler for someone with limited mobility.
A thoughtful reconfiguration brought the garage back to its full capability, restoring the household's day-to-day function.
