Susan has lived in her Louisville home for over 20 years and loves it for her lifestyle, but time had taken its toll on the interior finishes. She made the decision to do a major remodel and update the whole place and we’re so glad she chose Bunn and Sons to help her with the project! We gutted almost the entire house and made some significant changes to the layout in several key spaces. It was a major undertaking and a big investment, but Susan (and Leo!) now have a completely renovated home that will bring them enjoyment for years to come. Our clients are truly remarkable, and Susan is no exception to that. The fires that ravaged Louisville last year came very close to this neighborhood, so we were thankful it was spared! It’s been a pleasure for our team to serve Susan and we wish her years of happiness in her new space! Highlights of the project include: -A completely new kitchen which takes advantage of an open floor plan and lots of natural light thanks to the removal of a wall. We also removed a large built-in bookcase which created an open space all the way from the front door to the rear of the kitchen. Lot’s of room to roam! -Rebuilt the staircase between the upper level and the main level. We not only outfitted this staircase with an awesome modern look, but we also re-worked the layout of the stairs to be more functional with the rest of the main level layout. We also installed new handrails and -balusters on the other staircases in the house to match the new modern look of the main staircase.
