Always Know What's Happening. Always Know What's Next.

The most stressful part of a remodel isn't the dust or the decisions — it's the not knowing. Every client gets their own dedicated project portal, where updates, documents, schedules, and your full project team live in one organized place.

Meet Your Personal Project Portal

Your home is the most intimate space in your life, and you deserve to know exactly what’s happening inside it at every stage of your project. That’s why we use JobTread, the same project management platform our whole team runs on, to give you your own secure, dedicated portal.

Log in anytime to see where your project stands, review what’s coming up next week, message the team, approve a change order, or look back at yesterday’s photos from the field. No digging through old email threads. No calling the office to track down a number. Just one place for everything, built for you.

Real-Time Project Updates, Straight From the Jobsite

The best remodeling experience is one where you’re never left guessing.

Our team posts daily job logs, progress photos, and milestone updates directly to your portal as they happen — so you can check in on your project from your kitchen table, your office, or the other side of the country.

Your Entire Project Team, One Conversation Away

Design questions, schedule questions, selection questions, billing questions — you shouldn’t have to remember who to email for what. Through your portal, you can message your entire Bunn & Sons team in one place, and the right person will respond. No getting bounced around. No “let me check with the office and get back to you.”

A Schedule You Can Actually See

One of the biggest frustrations in custom construction is the black box of “when.” When are the framers coming? When does tile get set? When do we pick the plumbing fixtures by? With your portal, you don’t have to ask — you can see it.

We build detailed production schedules in JobTread using Gantt charts that factor in real life: subcontractor availability, material lead times, holidays, weather buffers, and everything in between. We update the schedule every week (even when nothing has changed), and you see the same view we do.

Every Document, Right Where You Left It

Your contract. Your plans. Your selection sheets. Your change orders. Your insurance certificates. Your warranty paperwork. All of it lives in your portal, organized and searchable, from the first day of pre-construction through the final walkthrough — and beyond.

No more “which email had the countertop spec again?” It’s in there. No more hunting for the signed change order from three months ago. It’s in there, too.

Digital Approvals and Payments, On Your Schedule

Approve change orders, review selections, and make payments securely from your phone or laptop. Every decision is timestamped and stored, so you always have a record of what was approved, when, and by whom. It’s faster for you, cleaner for us, and it keeps the project moving.

Why We Built Our Communication Around This

Because a beautiful finished home shouldn't come at the cost of a stressful build.

After more than a decade of custom residential work, we’ve learned that the projects people love, the ones where they say “that was so worth it”, aren’t just because they turn out beautiful. They’re the ones where the homeowner felt taken care of every step of the way.

The portal isn’t the reason we communicate well. It’s the tool that lets us communicate the way we already believe in communicating: clearly, proactively, and without anything getting lost in the shuffle. It’s one more way we keep our promise to be the kind of builder you’d want in your home.

Our Reviews

In Our Clients' Words

These are the reviews that keep us honest, and they’re the reason so many of our projects start with a referral from someone who’s been through the process.

FAQs About the Portal and Communication

Nope. Your portal lives in any web browser, and there's a free mobile app if you'd prefer it on your phone. We'll send you your login details at the start of your project and walk you through it personally — most of our clients are comfortable using it within about five minutes.

You don't have to be. The portal was designed to be simple — think of it less like project management software and more like a dashboard for your build. Your project manager will give you a personal walkthrough, and we're always just a message away if anything feels confusing. You'll never be left to figure something out on your own.

Absolutely. Every decision-maker on your side can have their own login, so you're both seeing the same information in real time. If your architect, designer, or anyone else on your side needs visibility, we can loop them in too.

Your documents, photos, and project history stay in your portal — you'll have a complete, organized record of your entire build. It's especially helpful down the road for warranty items, insurance, or if you ever go to sell the home.

At a minimum, you’ll receive updates several times a week from your superintendent, along with regular job logs and photos. Most of the time, communication is even more frequent, often daily.
